2011 • This Sept...production has begun on a broad, new project for the Tennessee River Trail Scenic Byway, that has ben in the works for over 2 years. It will include a 2-CD audio travel guide, featuring original music, interviews, and dramatizations ...very cool and more to come!! • In August, Chris began arranging and producing new songs for the new Mark Smeby “Christmas” • This July, Veggietales returned to Chris for arrangements and production on “O Holy Night: Journey of a Little Drummer Boy...” featuring Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, and BeBe & CeCe Winans. • In June, Chris completed arrangements and production of an original song for Primerica’s international convention and show. • This summer, work began on arranging and producing new songs and score for Jellyfish Lab’s “ A Buck Denver Christmas” DVD special. • In April, Chris began writing a major, new musical with Frederick Richardson. It’s based on the “Punchinello” series of books by best-selling author, Max Lucado • In March, I.O. Studio called on Chris to arrange and mix 4 new web spots for The National Guard. • In March, Chris arranged and produced 4 new spots for Jack Daniels new honey-based product, as well as remaking of the classic CCM hit “The Easter Song,” with iconic singer, Matthew Ward. In Feb, Chris wrote an original score for a short film for David Lipscomb University . In Jan., Chris produced “The Rest of My Life” for Centricity Music and a pitch to network tv. 2010 • This Fall, Chris wrote & produced an 11-minute Broadway musical number for Dollar General, featuring live actors, dancers & stage production in Austin, TX. - produced by Tangible Vision. • This May, Chris wrote original music for 2 new TV spots in a campaign for West Hills Hospital - Reno & DVL/Nashville • In April, Chris completed sound design for 2 TV spots for CellSouth’s newest ad campaign. • Early this year, Chris continued producing, arranging and scoring for Phil Vischer’s Jelly Telly, the premier animated/live action production from Chicago-based Jellyfish Labs. Visit www.jellyfishlabs.com to see the latest fun we’re inventing! 2009 In December, Chris scored a corporate film piece, featuring string-quartet and orchestra for Thompson-Reuters, commissioned by Switch in St. Louis. In July, Chris composed a score for the Pi Beta Fi National Sorority, for a film produced by DVL Public Relations and Advertising. In February, Chris began writing/producing new pieces for the 615 Music library, I-Team Investigative News 2008 Ruth McGinnis’ instrumental album, Songs of Love & Light, released in November and was her fifth, and final studio recording with Christopher Davis both producing and arranging. Mark Burnett Productions (Survivor, The Apprentice) came to town this summer and selected Chris’s team for callbacks for a new TV show “Jingles!” Though the show never made it to air... the “Name-Droppers” audition tape is still hillarious :) Check it out at your own risk! • In May, Chris completed arrangements and production on Baby Christmas Carols, his fifth record in the “Cedarmont Baby” series for Sony/BMG. Chris received the Dove Award for Children’s Music Album of the Year for Veggie Tales: Christian Hit Music.
